Meet the Celebrity Traitors 2026 line-up – including Richard E. Grant, Jerry Hall and Miranda Hart

She kept us waiting, but Claudia Winkleman has finally revealed the line-up for season two of the Celebrity Traitors, and audiences are in for a massive treat

ollowing the success of the first-ever Celebrity Traitors, which saw Alan Carr break down in tears after deceiving his co-stars David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed, the BBC series is back with a ridiculously star-studded line-up.

The beloved show, where Faithfuls and Traitors compete to win a cash prize, will be hosted by Claudia Winkleman once again and will feature television returns, game show debuts and a whole lot of star power.

Similar to last season, in the upcoming instalment, 21 stars will head to the infamous Scottish castle in the Highlands and battle it out for the chance to win up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

While the cast has changed, the rules remain the same: Faithfuls are tasked with trying to seek out the murderous Traitors among them, who are actively killing off players in the middle of the night.

Celebrity Traitors 2026 line up revealed

After much anticipation, the BBC revealed their celebrity line-up for the spin-off series that brought in an average audience of 14.9 million people during its previous run, the biggest TV audience of 2025. This year’s cohort includes:

The Celebrity Traitors season 2 release date

While a release date is yet to be announced, Celebrity Traitors series two is set to return to iPlayer and BBC One later in 2026. Filming began in May, with an expected release in autumn.

The first celebrity spin-off of the global game show aired on 8 October 2025 and saw the likes of Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Paloma Faith, Sir Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns sit around the round table.

The news was officially shared in a video by the broadcaster, who lined up chauffeurs at the airport, all of whom were holding chalkboards with the celebrities’ names scrawled across them.

In the background, Claudia’s voice boomed over the tannoy and revealed that the series would be returning later this autumn.

Some of the contestants shared their exciting news on their Instagram Stories, reposting the video with messages like, “Secrets out, wish me luck,” from Maya Jama and “Oh [expletive]” from Joe Lycett.

Underneath the post, fans of the show expressed their excitement at the line-up. One penned: “This line-up is flippin INSANE…. SOOOOO many of my favourites. Let the chaos begin baby,” while another added: “Give the celebrity booker a big fat raise”.

Meanwhile, last year’s Traitorous winner Rachel Duffy commented: “@joannemcnally this will be fun,” while Tom Daley said: “Excitinggg,” while Alison Hammond penned: “I can not wait.”
