Rhi Disljenkovic opens up in first post since Jeff Gobbels break-up: ‘A lot to process’

Married At First Sight’s Rhi Disljenkovic has shared what life has looked like since confirming her break-up with Jeff Gobbels.

A week on, Rhi, 36, shared what her days have consisted of following the news.

“Finding my way back,” she captioned her post, which showed her with a glass of wine, at the gym and grabbing coffee during the difficult time.

“Life’s looked a little different lately,” she wrote.

“Some days have felt really heavy … some days have felt really good.

“Most days have been a mix of both.”

Rhi said there had been “a lot of change, a lot to process, and a lot of moments where I’ve had to learn to sit with things I can’t control”.

Neither Rhi nor Jeff, 40, has shared the details behind their break-up in the days since their split made headlines.

“Sometimes choosing yourself means breaking your own little heart in the process,” she wrote.

She ended the post by saying she was grateful for all the messages of support she had received over the past week, which had “carried [her] through some really difficult moments”.

Many of Rhi’s MAFS co-stars were quick to share their own messages of love.

“Space, grace and a steady pace,” wrote former groom Ryan Donnelly.

Rhi and Jeff announced their break-up earlier this month after two years together, confirming rumours that began when fans noticed they had unfollowed and wiped traces of each other from social media.

“With a heavy heart, I want to share that Jeff and I have decided to part ways. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” Rhi wrote.

Famously, the pair briefly dated before meeting again at the altar on Season 12 of MAFS.

Rhi and Jeff were a slow burn during their season, but when romance finally sparked midway through they became the most successful couple, coasting through without a hiccup.
