Brook abruptly left the experiment during the second commitment ceremony

We say it every year and that’s because it’s absolutely true – the latest series of MAFS Australia has been WILD.

From Brook Crompton screaming at Alissa Fay and Stella Mickunaite during the second commitment ceremony to Tyson Gordon making it clear he does not want to marry a ‘woke’ woman – we’ve been left speechless.

Another Married at First Sight Australia series 13 cast member whose had us all sorts of confused is groom Chris Nield who during his audition tape admitted his turn offs are ‘fake tan, needy and fat people’.

His comments ruffled EVERYONE’s feathers – his wife’s, his co-stars and viewers (including us) – and despite claiming the reason he said his comments were because he’s ‘always been around boys’, Brook couldn’t move past it.

She abruptly quit the experiment twice – during Intimacy week and then again at the second commitment ceremony – and now her ex-husband Chris has spoken out about her.

‘I just don’t think she was in the right place for a new relationship to form,’ he told the Daily Mail.

The MAFS groom went on to claim, ‘Obviously, finding out during the show that she’d slept with her ex two days before we actually got married… looking at it now, I’m just feeling like if she was doing that, she wasn’t ready.’

Chris speaking out comes after Brook confirmed that not only is she back with her ex-boyfriend, but they’re also engaged and having a baby.

Opening up about reconnecting just two weeks after she quit the experiment, Brook said, ‘We were both like, “OK, if it didn’t work back then, what are we going to do to make it work now?” but Harry invited me away to the Maldives a couple of weeks later for a surfing trip with his family friends and that just cemented things for me.

‘We just had the most beautiful time. We were better than we had ever been,’ she told Women’s Day.

Chris, on the other hand, has seemingly poked fun at his life outside the show.

‘Woke up, natural tan, not needy, single, reta, someone’s definitely pregnant, mum loves me, life’s good,’ he wrote alongside a video of him working topless.
