Love Island’s Ellie looks unrecognisable in throwback snap as fans say ‘that’s the same girl?’

LOVE Island fans have uncovered a historic snap of Scottish beauty Ellie – and are shocked its the same person.

The Real Estate Videographer, 24, who hails from West Lothian, looks worlds away from her villa style in unearthed pictures from several years ago.

While she now has bright blonde hair, Ellie was once a brunette.

In an old snap from 2020, she has shoulder-length chocolate hair – unlike her long blonde extensions – filled in arched eyebrows and a very different make-up look.

With the picture circulating on Reddit, fans were shocked that it was Ellie, but said she looked just as gorgeous.

One wrote: “That’s the same girl???? She needs to go back to her real hair color she looks so much more interesting!”

Comparing her to a former Love Island winner, a third wrote: “Wait she looks so much like Amber Gill as a brunette omg????”

Ellie appears to have gone blonde in 2021.

The star has been a hit with fans since entering the villa earlier this month, and has even gone viral for one hilarious habit.

Ellie has noticeably been the first islander to ever carry a handbag around the villa, despite the fact that show stars don’t actually go further than the garden.

During the first few days of the show, she was rarely seen without a £2000 Prada bag on her arm – even during confrontation.

Viewers have been left in fits of giggles after spotting Ellie’s bag habit and have taken to social media to discuss it further.

One wrote: “Ellie is the first girl I’ve seen carry a bag around the villa, she’s so real go find those designer bags girly show us the villa collection.”

While Amy Bannerman, eBay‘s Pre-Loved Style Director, told The Sun that the bag is one of the items put into the villa by the brand – which has been the show’s official fashion partner since 2022.
