David Haye has threatened to steal his rival camp’s food after tempers flared once again on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.

The boxer, 45, has been slammed by viewers so far for his ‘vile behaviour’ on the ITV series after he sparked outrage with his ‘ugly birds’ comments earlier this week.

Now, the former heavyweight world champion has mounted a fence in an effort to steal Team Rhino’s food after they beat his Team Lion in yet another Bushtucker Trial.

Accusing the Rhinos’ Adam Thomas of gloating after their win, which left Team Lion without food for the second night in a row, David threatened to snatch their food when it arrived tonight.

‘For you to get your, your goodies tonight, you’re gonna have to go across Lion airspace right, yeah, so technically anything within this vicinity going up from the barriers belongs to us,’ he said.

After being asked by Adam whether he is going to ‘snatch the bag’, David replied: ‘I’m not, I’m not snatching the bag, I’m just taking what belongs to us.’

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he added: ‘If any food comes into our territory, it’s ours. We’re Lions, this is the Lions den.’

David then continued to Adam: ‘Just so you know, it’s not that friendly, the banter hasn’t been that friendly.

‘It makes it easier for me to do the scumbag move. If the food comes across, whoever it is for or not potentially for, that’s not my concern. I’m going to take it and I’m going to eat it.’

In a sneak peek for tomorrow night’s episode, David was then seen jumping onto the fence in an effort to steal the food.

Reacting to his actions on social media, fans hit out at his ‘arrogance’, as Cath said: ‘Talk about a sore loser. He would be having banter if the lions won.

Linda also wrote on X: ‘Get David Haye out, [he] should never have gone in!!’

This comes after David stunned his fellow campmates when he started discussing the ‘ugly duckling syndrome’.

Describing his girlfriend, Sian Osborne, he stated that ‘she’s got the personality of a proper ugly bird’, before Scarlett Moffat said: ‘You can’t say that!’

He then explained: ‘Most ugly girls realise they’re not pretty enough… they’ve got to have a personality to banter and tell jokes to overlook that they’re not aesthetically amazing straight away.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
