MAFS Australia’s Gia slammed by furious fans after she criticises husband’s ‘small, messy’ home

FANS of Married At First Sight Australia aren’t happy with bride Gia Fleur, who is set to verbally trash her husband’s home during homestays.

The end of tonight’s episode saw a preview into the upcoming drama, where husband Scott McCristal invites Gia over to his home.

Scott lives in a house by the water which is modern and even has boats outside.

However, Gia appears to be far from impressed and unafraid to state the issues she has with Scott’s house out loud.

The TV star first brands the home as being “messy”, looking around with a slight expression of disgust.

She continues to comment on it being “small”, saying certain pieces of furniture such as a little coffee table by the sofa would be “better off not there”.

The nail in the coffin is Gia walking around the property and declaring that she definitely “couldn’t live” there.

A defeated Scott is shocked at what he’s hearing, saying he would “never” say anything like that about somebody’s home.

Fans at home were left with a bitter taste in their mouth after the preview and left scathing comments towards Gia over on X.

The drama comes shortly after the controversial star slammed MAFS, saying the show has “ruined her life”.

Speaking in a video posted to TikTok, she said: “Let me give you this little piece of advice, a little tip… you don’t get to choose your wedding dress.

“I wouldn’t have chosen the dress I had. But they wanted me to cover my tattoos.

“If you were to ask me if I’d do it again, I would say no. You need to be aware, going on a show like this, it’s really nothing like you think it’s going to be.

“You’re filming 16 hour days, your phone is taken off you every day and you don’t get it back until early hours of the morning.

“You’re very controlled when you’re in the apartments. There are curfews, you can’t talk to the other castmates. Even if you walk past someone and go, ‘hey’, [producers will] get angry at you, someone will come out and tell you off.”

Signing off her damning video, Gia added: “If you’re happy to be controlled, phone taken off you, not have many rights, get paid very minimum wage… go ahead.

“Oh, and also have your life ruined. The worst part of you is going to be amplified and that’s probably what they’ll show.

“And if you think you’re going to get the love of your life, you’re probably going to get the opposite of what you asked for.”
