The season 23 alum has something exciting in store for fans!
American Idol’s season 23 winner, Jamal Roberts, has been busy since he last exited the Idol stage. In addition to spending time with his daughters and his song “Heal” debuting at number one on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart, the Mississippi native is also preparing to make one of his first concert performances since the show.
The 27-year-old singer, who previously served as a gym teacher in his home state, is slated to perform at the Bee More Summer Festival in Atmore, Alabama, according to a June 2 Facebook post. The event will reportedly be free for attendees and will take place on June 14 at Boxcar Willie, 207 W. Ridgeley St.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our community and folks visiting Atmore to come together and enjoy world-class entertainment right here at Boxcar Willie,” he added. “His performance will undoubtedly be a highlight of the day.”
