Adam Thomas has set his sights on ‘taking over’ as he provided a major career update just weeks after the tense I’m A Celebrity final.

Former Emmerdale actor Adam was voted the winner by public vote during the live final of the I’m A Celebrity spin-off towards the end of last month. The live final saw him accused of being ‘abusive, aggressive and intimidating’ by former footballer Jimmy Bullard.

Viewers were also left stunned when boxer David Haye joined in the conversation to accuse the ITV show of editing footage to make Manchester-born Adram look like a ‘victim’, which led to presenters Ant and Dec having to step in and try to control the situation.

Adam previously claimed that David pushed him to his limits and ‘broke him’ during their time in camp. On top of this, Adam had a row with campmate Jimmy for almost compromising his time on the show by quitting a trial that decided which celebrities would continue in camp.

With Jimmy claiming Adam dropped ‘c-bombs’ which were not aired, the actor responded by saying he took ‘full responsibility’ for his actions, which he apologised for, and said he has ‘nothing but love for Jimmy’.

Seeking to put the turbulent past few weeks behind him, Adam took to Instagram on Sunday (May 10) with a big update. It was announced last month that Adam’s hot sauce brand Oh My Glaze was preparing for a relaunch.

The company was originally developed by Adam and his close friend Scott Graham. Having previously had a pop-up stall at Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Oh My Glaze is back with new flavours and to begin popping up in UK shops in the coming weeks.

Joining the expanding team is Robyn McManus, who has experience in fast-moving consumer goods and fool sales. The team is seeking to grow in retail and direct-to-consumer channels.

Adam said: “Just 3 friends trying to take over the sauce market, one sauce at a time. Wish I could take all the credit for what’s about to happen with Oh My Glaze but honestly the moves we’re making right now are massively down to these two @robyn_elise_1 @scottgraham_17.

“What started as a simple idea has turned into something way bigger than we ever imagined, and honestly, we’re only just getting started. Years of hard work, late nights, setbacks, lessons, and belief in what we’re building… and now it’s finally all starting to come together.

“Oh My Glaze is coming back with a BIG bang. Same mission, just bigger and better. Non ultra-processed sauces, made with real ingredients, @ohmyglaze the sauce that makes you go… OH MY!”

He added: “We’ve got some seriously exciting news coming very soon… Oh My Glaze is back.”

The comments section of Adam’s post saw a number of his followers expressing their joy at being able to buy the product one again. Oh My Glaze’s website currently says ‘we’ll be back soon’.
