FERNANDO ALONSO is expecting his first child with girlfriend Melissa Jimenez.

The couple have been together since 2023 and managed to keep the pregnancy quiet during the Formula One season.

Jimenez is due to give birth in March with what will be her fourth child – but first with Alonso, 44.

The pair met in the F1 paddock as Jimenez is a presenter for DAZN.

They reportedly live together in Monaco with Jimenez’s children from her marriage to former Barcelona star Marc Bartra – daughters Gala, 10, and Abril, seven, and son Max, six.

According to Spanish outlet Hola, Jimenez is in her third trimester so has taken a step back from her reporting duties.

She and Alonso have kept their private life quiet since getting together.

They shacked up shortly after the Aston Martin star split from Andrea Schlager.

Jimenez, 38, broke up with Barta two years prior to that, with the defender since starting an on-off relationship with supermodel Jessica Goicoechea.

Alonso’s first child could have an influence on his future with his Aston Martin contract set to expire at the end of next year.

He said of his future: “It depends on how I feel next year, how I feel physically and mentally.

“But I don’t know. I don’t have a clear idea right now. If the car goes well, there’s a good chance it will be my last year.”
