“That is a genuine fact.”

There is one type of celebrity we will apparently never see heading to The Traitors‘ castle, it has been revealed. The first season of the reality TV show spin-off aired last year, with Traitor Alan Carr unbelievably taking the win after a rollercoaster journey.

He was joined by the likes of Jonathan Ross, Stephen Fry, Paloma Faith, Joe Marler, and Nick Mohammed in the series, with many fans praising the all-star cast.

Shortly after airing, it was confirmed that a second season was on the way, with fans already desperately trying to work out who would be joining host Claudia Winkleman on the show.

However, it appears we can rule out any reality TV stars appearing on The Traitors, after Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby claimed they are “not allowed” in the cast.

Speaking to The Sun about whether she would want to appear on the hit BBC show, she said: “I would love to do that, but you do know they’ve got a ‘no reality’ rule. That is a genuine fact.

“My agent is on the line, and he will confirm. They take no reality stars. A lot of shows have this rule.”

She continued: “I’m a Celebrity used to have this rule. But it gets to the point where they’ve obviously run out of big names, so they have to start delving into reality.

“So they’ll have this rule for maybe three or four series, and then they might have to break the mould a bit. As soon as they do, I will be there with my f**king cloak.”

Several stars are rumoured to be heading to the Highlands for the next season, including Bob Mortimer, Ruth Jones, Daisy May Cooper, and Danny Dyer.

While we don’t have an exact release date for season two of Celebrity Traitors, we do know it will be hitting our screens in 2026.

The Traitors series 1-4 are streaming on BBC iPlayer. Celebrity Traitors series 1 is streaming on BBC iPlayer, with a second series confirmed.
