ITV fans have just remembered that newcomer Jessy Potts was ‘besties’ with her new co-star

Love Island fans are just realising new bombshell Jessy Potts had a close relationship with a fellow Islander.

The 27-year-old appeared on series eleven back in summer 2024. She famously paired up with former TOWIE star Joey Essex, but they parted ways just weeks after being dumped from the villa.

Jessy has now returned to ITV for the latest All Stars series, and she has already been thrown into the heart of the drama.

In scenes yet to air, the Leicester bombshell appears to get caught up in a heated argument between Belle Hassan and Lucinda Strafford.

The duo’s friendship seemingly started in 2024, just weeks after Jessy left Love Island. They enjoyed a string of holidays together, going everywhere from Disneyland Los Angeles to Australia.

While it seems like they were just on brand trips together, the pair were also spotted hanging out in London and Lucinda even referred to Jessy as her ‘bestie’ on TikTok.

Fans have been left stunned after discovering the duo’s past relationship, especially since Lucinda and Samie Elishi’s real-life friendship caused chaos earlier this season.

But Reddit users were already aware of the duo’s history, although it slipped their minds when Jessy first arrived.

One fan wrote: “I completely forgot until I just saw a comment on the post discussion thread that Lucinda and Jessy were practically attached at the hip for a month back in 2024! They were in Australia. L.A and London together constantly.”

Others were quick to note that Lucinda has a long list of friends in the industry: “I totally forgot that she was in Lucinda’s massive pile of discarded ‘besties.’”

While someone else replied: “There are truly so many!!”

Earlier this season, Samie was left fuming after Lucinda unexpectedly stole her partner Ciaran Davies during a recoupling. Samie later confronted the 26-year-old and expressed that she wasn’t expecting her friend from the real world to betray her.
