Strictly pro reveals shock return to the show just weeks after being axed

A FAN-FAVOURITE Strictly Come Dancing pro has revealed her shock return to the show after being brutally axed.

Strictly bosses axed five pros in a major shake up ahead of the next series, which is set to return in the autumn.

Nadiya Bychkova was one of the pro dancers cut from the BBC show after nearly a decade.

Nadiya was “distraught” by the shocking news and she was left utterly “heart broken” when she wasn’t invited back as a full time pro dancer.

But now, the 36-year-old has confessed a return to the studios is on the cards.

Speaking to Hello! about making a comeback, she said: “Absolutely. It is absolutely [on the cards]. We are talking about, hopefully, in the future me coming in and choreographing some of the pro numbers.”

It seems there is absolutely no bad blood between Nadiya and show bosses as she plots her big return.

While Nadiya won’t be taking to the dance floor with a new celeb every year, she seemed over-the-moon with putting her years of knowledge to the test.

Nadiya continued: “The team have known for years how passionate I am about creating things and choreographing. Lots of producers came to watch shows that I did myself.

“This is the natural thing to do, because of what I love and want to do.”

“It would be beautiful to see some of my creations and stories [that] I want to tell through dance on Strictly one day,” gushed Nadiya.

Ukrainian ballroom dancer Nadiya met with Strictly bosses back in March and was told it would be the end of the road.

She was purged from the cast alongside Long-running castmembers Gorka Marquez, 35, Luba Mushtuk, 36, relative newcomer  Michelle Tsiakkas, 30 and show veteran Karen Hauer.

A source previously said: “Nadiya is distraught. The news came as such a huge shock as Nadiya’s life was Strictly and to find out she’s not been invited back as full time pro has really broken her heart. No one was expecting producers to chop so many professionals.

“Especially someone like Nadiya, who’s shown so much dedication to the show over the years. There’s a super weird feeling among the rest of the pros now, they’re all wondering if they’re safe and everyone’s nervous.”
