Love Island fans issue complaint to show producers over villa romance as they ask ‘how is this allowed?’
LOVE Island fans have issued a complaint to the show’s producers over Simba and Mica’s romance.
The pair have been getting to know one another in the main villa but hadn’t kissed out of respect to Angelista, who Simba is coupled up with.

Both Simba and Mica were chosen to head to the ‘Sleepover Villa’ along with Kavan and Yasmin to get to know four new bombshells.
They were picked by Halle and Chidi but instead of getting to know the new bombshells, it looked like Simba and Mica only had eyes for one another.
During a challenge called Ice Ice Baby, the villa inhabitants were required to transfer ice into each other’s mouths and whoever dropped it had to do a forfeit.
When it came to Mica, she was told she had to pick a dare which was to “kiss the Islander she has the most sexual chemistry with” – and of course she kissed Simba.
Later on in the episode, the pair enjoyed a quiet moment alone as he told her: “I need to stand on business and let you know that I’m going to stop prioritising Angie’s feelings.
“I’m going to do what I want to do, actually be open.”
Simba then turned to Mica and said: “I’m tired of the challenge kisses, I think you are too.”
The two then shared a full on snog, with Angelista in the dark about what is going on behind her back.
Fans were in uproar about their growing closeness, especially because they’re supposed to be getting to know the new bombshells.
Taking to X, one person fumed: “How is this even allowed kmt.”

Another ITV2 viewer raged: “B***h you’re there to explore new bombshells, producers why’d you let mica and Simba go to sleepover together that’s such a waste of storyline.”
Somebody else commented: “The bombshell inviting Simba to an overnight date and he is telling her he has to chat to Mica. Mica is not his couple.”
Yet another fan claimed: “This Simba and Mica going to the sleepover is so production coded.”
While a fifth added: “So Mica and Simba are going to progress further and just leave the bombshells sitting there? Lol okay.”
A teaser for tonight’s episode showed Simba and Mica snogging again outside of a challenge.
The bombshells are also seen entering the main villa alongside the four Islanders and Angelista doesn’t look happy.
Viewers will have to tune in to see the drama unfold as she finds out exactly what the pair have been doing behind her back.
During Angelista’s recoupling speech for Simba, she admitted: “Since he walked in, I’ve felt different.
“I feel like not only can I feel it, everyone can see it.
“We have amazing conversations, I can’t wait to wake up and go to sleep with him.
“And honestly, we have so much in common, he feels like a piece of home and helps me not miss home too much.”
