In June, Malia officially tied the knot to footballer Hope Akpan.

The couple wed at the stunning Merrydale Manor venue in Cheshire over the weekend, with Malia shared snaps from her big day.

Malia was quick to change her name to reflect her husband’s surname online.

The couple are parents to Halo, who was born in 2019, and twins Heaven and Harmony, who they welcomed in 2024.

Viewers of Love Island will remember how Malia after she and Kady had huge bust-up on the second series.

Kady had accidentally spilled some of her drink which went on to splash on Malia’s leg.

However, seconds later, Malia squared up to Kady and began a fight.

Producers swiftly stepped in and Malia was sent packing, still holding the record for the shortest Love Island UK stay.

She later opened up about being removed from the villa, telling Closer: “Security removed me after an altercation with Kady.

“I met with the producers, where we watched the footage back and there was a report conducted. I then went to a hotel with my chaperone, where I stayed for 24 hours, with no contact with anyone.

“ITV have the final say on whether you leave, and they decided that I wouldn’t be let back.

“Coming home to the UK was horrible – I was trolled relentlessly, and people threw drinks at me on nights out.

“After one hour of being on TV, I got a reputation as an aggressive and violent person – which just isn’t me at all. I was depressed and didn’t want to leave the house.”
