Netflix’s Legends launches this week – and the programme boasts some highly recognisable names in its star-studded ensemble, reports the Mirror.

The six-episode series Legends debuts on Netflix today (May 7) and draws from the extraordinary true account of a collection of everyday individuals who gambled everything for their nation.

The programme chronicles several customs officers who go undercover and assume ‘legends’ to penetrate Britain’s most perilous drug syndicates as they engage in the battle against narcotics during the 1990s.

The British crime drama features an outstanding roster of talent, who have previously appeared in some major productions.

Who is in the cast of Netflix’s Legends?

Guy – Tom Burke

Tom Burke portrays real-life legend Guy, who exchanges his monotonous customs position to become a legend.

Burke has featured in The Musketeers, War and Peace, Blade Runner 2099, BBC’s Strike, and The Lazarus Project.

Don – Steve Coogan

Steve Coogan is Don, who supervises the legends. The actor, writer and producer is most recognised for his comedic alter-ego Alan Partridge, Philomena, The Sandman, and 24 Hour Party People.

Kate – Hayley Squires

The Night Manager, Great Expectations and Adult Material star Hayley Squires portrays legend Kate.

Carter – Tom Hughes

Tom Hughes, most recognised for ITV’s Victoria, The Gold and Malpractice, assumes the part of drug kingpin Carter.

Bailey – Aml Ameen

Actor, director and producer Aml Ameen from The Porter, Rustin and Kidulthood, portrays legend Bailey.

Erin – Jasmine Blackborow

Jasmine Blackborow, who has appeared in Netflix’s The Gentlemen, Marie Antoinette and Shadow and Bone, plays legends’ secretary Erin.

Blake – Douglas Hodge

Celebrated actor, composer, director and writer Douglas Hodge, known for The Night Manager, The Great and Black Mirror, takes on the role of senior civil servant Blake, who oversees Don.

Eddie – Johnny Harris

Johnny Harris steps into the role of drug dealer Eddie, following his appearances in This Is England ’86, Great Expectations, and A Gentleman in Moscow.

Mylonas – Gerald Kyd

Gerald Kyd, recognisable from Casualty, Malory Towers, and The Assassin on Prime Video, takes on the role of Guy’s fixer Mylonas.

Hakan – Numan Acar

Numan Acar, well known for Homeland, Jack Ryan and Young Sherlock, portrays Turkish drug dealer Hakan.

Sophie – Charlotte Ritchie

Ghosts, Call the Midwife and Netflix’s You star Charlotte Ritchie portrays Guy’s wife and fellow customs officer Sophie.

Zeki – Joshua Samuels

Joshua Samuels, familiar from The Gold, Saltburn and Nate and Jamie, takes on the role of Kurdish drug dealer Zeki, who is in cahoots with Hakan.

Aziz – Kem Hassan

Actor and writer Kem Hassan portrays Hakan’s son Aziz. Legends marks his most prominent role to date, following appearances in The Sandman, Beyond Paradise and Grace.

Shaun – Thomas Coombes

Thomas Coombes portrays Shaun, who helps the Legends, and has previously featured in ITV crime drama Grace, Sky’s Save Me, Luther: The Fallen Sun, Miss Austen and Baby Reindeer.
