Jimmy Kimmel, a famous American talk show host, responded to President Trump, who has repeatedly pressured him to leave his show, by saying, “Quiet, piggy.” This was in reference to the president’s recent controversial vulgar remarks.

Kimmel mentioned on the 20th episode of ABC’s *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* a post that President Trump had written on Truth Social targeting him.

In a post from the previous day, President Trump wrote, “Why does ABC fake news keep Jimmy Kimmel, a talentless and ratings-challenged person, on the air? Why do TV syndicates, local broadcasters, put up with it? Get the bum off the air!!!”

The post was published 11 minutes after Kimmel’s show ended. It was in response to Kimmel’s mention of suspicions related to President Trump’s Epstein files on his show, which displeased the president.

Addressing Trump, he said, “Mr. President, I admire your persistence,” and added, “I assume you’re watching tonight as well. How about this? If you leave, I’ll leave too.”

He continued, “Understand? We’ll be a team. Let’s ride off into the sunset like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” and added, “And until then, to borrow your words, ‘Quiet, piggy.’”

Earlier, on the 14th, President Trump cut off ABC News correspondent Mary Bruce, who was asking him on Air Force One why he had not yet released the *Epstein files*, and shouted, “Quiet. Quiet, piggy,” sparking controversy.

Regarding this, Karoline Leavitt, a White House spokesperson, defended the president during a press briefing on the 20th, stating, “The president is very honest and straightforward. He is the most transparent president in history,” further fueling the controversy.
