A MAN has admitted to killing a mum-of-three who was found dead inside her house.

Charlie James Jeans, 31, was at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday when he changed his plea to guilty.

Officers were called to a house on Wadham Road in Portsmouth on June 5, 2025, following reports that a body had been located.

Samantha Murphy, 32, was found dead at the property.

Following a murder investigation into the tragic death, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary arrested two men on suspicion of murder.

During the fifth day of a trial, Jeans, of Margate Road in Southsea, admitted to murdering Samantha.

He has been remanded to appear at the same court for sentencing on June 17.
