F1 driver Lance Stroll stands to inherit an enormous fortune worth over £2billion from his father one day.
Racing for Aston Martin, Stroll will be eager to bounce back from his 2025 performance, which proved to be the Canadian’s most challenging season yet. In his fifth year with the team, he could only manage 16th position.
Now in his ninth F1 season, Stroll was outpaced by team-mate Fernando Alonso. His driving also drew criticism from rookie Franco Colapinto, who claimed “Stroll is just always taking people out,” following his forceful defending against Gabriel Bortoleto in Brazil.
It’s understood that Stroll earns approximately £2.3m per season with Aston Martin, and while that sum is hardly insignificant, the 27-year-old is set to inherit a vast fortune from his father.

Stroll’s father is Lawrence, a Canadian entrepreneur who accumulated his wealth through shrewd investments in the fashion and luxury goods businesses. Among his early ventures was Pierre Cardin, where he eventually became the firm’s largest shareholder.
The investment has previously been valued at around £1bn. The entrepreneur further expanded his portfolio with investments in Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors, offloading shares in the latter 13 years ago.
A significant portion of Lawrence’s profit came from the sale of Sportswear Holdings, which held the rights to Pepe Jeans and Ralph Lauren. In 2018, he spearheaded a group of investors to acquire Force India – a racing team – for £90m plus £15mof their debt.
Fast forward to 2020, and Lawrence assumed the role of executive director of Aston Martin. He made a £182m investment and subsequently appointed his son as the team’s driver.
Owing to these strategic investments and his business acumen, Lawrence has amassed an astonishing net worth of £2.65bn, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

Hamilton has a net worth of £335m, and Verstappen is worth £149m, suggesting that Stroll’s wealth could potentially exceed five times the combined wealth of his current competitors.
British racing icon Hamilton has been diligently increasing his wealth, investing in NFL team the Denver Broncos last year and owning a film production company on top of his £46.8m salary.
Verstappen currently holds the title of the highest-paid F1 driver on the circuit, earning £50m a year from Red Bull. Stroll ranks 13th with an annual income of £2.3m.The lowest-paid F1 driver is Isack Hadjar, who earns between £400k-£800k per season. The new F1 season kicks off in Australia on 6 March. Testing runs are also scheduled in Bahrain in mid-February.
