I’M A Celebrity South Africa fans have rumbled a new show feud as they claim a duo have no time for David Haye after his controversial rant.

Earlier this week, the boxing legend sparked a “sexism” row after making a string of remarks about “ugly birds”.

Now viewers at home think Scarlett Moffatt and Beverley Callard don’t want to listen to what he has to say.

During Wednesday night’s instalment, the campmates gathered to see Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp take on an eating trial to decide who will win the highly coveted safari prize.

As the two chowed down on all manner of disgusting items, David said: “You can spew, don’t be too proud to spew.”

Ant and Dec laughed as Ant remarked: “Obsessed with spewing this man, just obsessed with it.”

Scarlett chimed in: “Honestly, he just talks s**t all the time,” as Beverley added: “I second that, I second that.”

The Gogglebox star then said: “I love him to bits but you can tell he’s been bashed around the head a few times.”

Later on, David attempted to psych out his rival Jimmy by saying: “Might be too much for Jimmy.”

Former Coronation Street star Beverley was quick to add: “No, it’s not too much for Jimmy.”

The exchange prompted viewers at home to flock to X to share their thoughts on the brewing tension between the women and David.

One person stated: “Scarlett and Bev really have no time for David LOLLLL.”

Another commented: “Scarlett saying David’s been bashed around the head a good few times,” alongside a picture of Ant and Dec hysterically laughing.

Somebody else wrote: “Scarlett and Bev sl***ing off David Haye.”

Yet another ITV viewer said: “Scarlett and Bev really don’t like David.”

During a camp chat earlier this week, David, 45, said his girlfriend Sian Osborne had “the personality of a proper ugly bird”.

When Scarlett asked what he meant, he explained: “Most ugly girls realise they’re not pretty enough… they’ve got to have a personality to banter and tell jokes to overlook that they’re not aesthetically amazing straight away.

“It’s called ‘ugly duckling syndrome’,” he continued. “They get prettier as they get older but they’ve still got the personality of when they were younger.

“You get a girl who was pretty from day one, everyone tells her she’s amazing, so she grows up thinking ‘I’m amazing, everyone loves me, I can open up any door, I can go anywhere I want’.

“They don’t have to have a personality, because most super-pretty girls are idiots.”

He further explained: “Their ugly friend has to work a bit harder, they need to be more personable, be more nicer to everyone, ‘can I get you a drink? Can I do this?’”

Following his comments, a source close to Sian told The Sun: “Sian can see why people are upset, but he absolutely did not intend to offend anyone – it was meant as a compliment.

“He thinks of himself as a bit of a philosopher and was using the ‘ugly duck theory’ to boast about how Sian has it all – the stunning looks and killer personality.

“Sian found it really funny. She knows David has a heart of gold and worships the ground she walks on.

“He always treats her with the utmost respect. She doesn’t think he deserves to be labelled sexist.

“Unless you’re facing him in the ring, David hasn’t got a mean bone in his body.”
