Masked Singer judge Davina McCall reveals major transformation in first look

The 58-year-old star has switched up her wardrobe for the occasion

Masked Singer judge Davina McCall has completely transformed her look ready for a themed episode of the hit ITV show.

Last week, the hit ITV show returned for another few weeks of our celebrity judging panel turning into detectives as they figure out which stars are behind all 12 masks.

For another year, judges Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan all rejoined the judging panel. They were presented with another cohort of famous faces, offering up clue by clue as they try and guess “who’s that behind the mask”.

Viewers will recall that Maya Jama took over from Rita Ora last year, with suggestions that it was to focus on her music and other aspects of her career away from the ITV series. As the new series kicks off, the 12 new contestants will be split into two groups with six performing each episode until they’re merged together when they start to get eliminated.

In group one, we have: Red Panda, Moth, Disc Jockey, Gargoyle, Sloth and Can of Worms. Group two we have: Conkers, Arctic Fox, Toastie, Teabag, Yak and Monkey Business.

During the debut episode of the new series, singer Anne-Marie was unmasked as Goldfish after her performance at the start of the show before the contestants also took to the stage.

However, it was The One Show’s Alex Jones who was unmasked as Disc Jockey, and therefore the first to leave the competition. The second elimination shocked viewers as music artist Professor Green was revealed as being behind Teabag.

Freddie Flintoff will be joining as guest judge(Image: ITV)

As the Masked Singer prepares for the third installment of the seventh series, Freddie Flintoff will be joining the panel as guest judge in what looks to be a Sports Day special.

Donning his Cricket uniform, Freddie won’t look too out of place as the other judges will also be wearing their best sports gear. Jonathan Ross will be dressed in his finest tennis gear, while Maya Jama stuns in her gymnastics gear. Mo will be showing up as a Basketball player, but it’s Davina’s outfit that has completely transformed the star.

Dressed in a full gold bodysuit, Davina will be showing up on Saturday (January 10) night as a gold media, with “1st” printed onto the front of her one-toned outfit.

To go with her medal chic, Davina will be donning ribbons in her hair as her usual hairstyle gets switched out for two buns on either side of her scalp.

Previously, Davina has praised the ITV show and said: “It always swings hugely from being sub­limely ridicu­lous to really stun­ning and magical. If you haven’t watched it, you’d think, ‘Oh, that’s just a ridicu­lous show,’ but it’s so much more than that. There are so many aspects.

“There’s the enter­tain­ment aspect. There’s the quiz aspect. There’s the bit where you can take part in it at home along­side every­body else. It’s massive online because every­body’s going, ‘No, I think it’s this per­son. No, actu­ally this per­son.’”
