TONIGHT’S episode of Love Island sees Jessy left horrified after finding out that Helena said she’s ‘only with Tommy for airtime’.

After being dumped earlier this week, Helena told host Maya Jama in her exit interview that she was questioning Jesy’s intentions when it came to her pal Tommy.

The upcoming episode sees the presenter pose a question to each of the couples from the public and it’s not long before Jessy finds out what Helena said about her.

Maya says: “The final question, Jessy and Tommy – Helena said in her Maya interview that Jessy was only with Tommy for airtime, is it true?”

The question will no doubt cause a ripple effect for the couple, with Tommy already having doubts during last night’ instalment.

Viewers will have to tune into tonight’s episode to see the drama unfold.

Speaking about Jessy, Helena said: “When Jessy came in and started talking about stuff that’s she’s not even involved in. I was like ‘why are you piping up?’ ‘What’s going on here?’

“I think something went on between Jessy and Lucinda on the outside.

“I think they were friends and then maybe not friends and I think she’s bringing up things from outside into the villa and seeing that Lucinda is making comments at Belle and then went full force at Lucinda when she came in.”

Maya asked what she thought about Jessy’s intentions towards Tommy.

Helena insisted that she’s “not into him” and is just “latching” onto him.

She continued: “I don’t buy Jessy and Tommy, maybe it comes from a place that I’m super protective over Tommy.

“Where he’s so pure and young, I don’t want anyone to break his heart. You know when a nice boy gets their heart broken and then turn into a nasty piece of work.

“I’m not saying that Jessy’s that person to do that, but I don’t think she’s into Tommy at all.”

Maya then asked why Jessy was continuing to pursue Tommy if she has no interest in him, which prompted Helena to bluntly respond: “Airtime.

“Involving herself in the drama, latching onto Tommy, there’s a plan that she had and it backfired when her dad came on and said those comments to her.

“She did start to go into her shell and be really nice the next day.”

Helena and Carrington then confirmed that Jessy’s behaviour instantly changed after she got a warning from her dad.

Helena said: “Next morning completely different person, maybe she was still upset about the phone call.

“She just started to be the real Jessy.”

Series 11 star Jessy arrived as the latest bombshell during the Heart Rate Challenge and immediately made an impact on the boys.

She expressed interest in Tommy as well as US bombshells Zac and Carrington, but ultimately decided to couple up with Tommy.

The islanders did previously question if she chose Tommy as the “safe option” as he was the only single boy and the others were in romantic dynamics.

Jessy first starred on the main series in 2024 and immediately hit it off with Joey Essex.

The pair were dumped just three days before the final after the former islanders returned to the show and voted them off.
