IAN Huntley’s daughter has told of her relief over the Soham monster’s death and said: “We should flush his ashes down the toilet.”
Samantha Bryan believes the double child killer does not deserve a funeral.

Huntley died yesterday, nine days after a brutal beating at HMP Frankland, Co Durham, which crushed his skull and left him in a coma.
In the official quote announcing his death, prison chiefs did not even name the fiend, who murdered ten-year-old schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.
The Sun exclusively revealed yesterday how Huntley’s life support was turned off in hospital with the agreement of his mum Lynda Richards.
Durham Police said it is continuing to investigate the February 26 attack on Huntley at a prison workshop.
Sources have told The Sun on Sunday that Huntley’s alleged attacker — rapist triple killer Anthony Russell — is expected to face charges in the coming days.
Samantha last night said he does not deserve a funeral or a grave as he is going to burn in hell.

Her mum Katie Bryan, 45, also wants no resting place for her “monster” of an ex, who murdered ten-year-old schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman before leaving their bodies in a ditch.
Samantha, 27, told The Sun on Sunday: “He shouldn’t have the dignity of a funeral and grave. I will not be going. A funeral is pointless for a man like him.

“Funerals are supposed to be about celebrating someone’s life and there’s nothing about him to celebrate. It takes up people’s valuable time and he’s not worth it.
“There’s no point having a funeral as he’ll burn in hell.
“There is no place for him in heaven. The devil is waiting.”
She went on: “I don’t want there to ever be any possibility of freaks or weirdos going to a resting place or memorial, to show him some kind of twisted respect.
“The thought of that is disgusting. For the sake of what he’s done I want people to forget him.”
Her mum added: “I just cannot get out of my head what he did to Holly and Jessica and how he left them in a ditch.
“For that reason why should he be given the dignity of a grave? I don’t think he deserves a resting place. A Christian burial is for good people and he’s the devil. He’s evil. I know he’s going to burn in hell.”
Samantha is Huntley’s only child after Katie was seduced by the fiend when she was 15.
He pushed Katie down the stairs when she was pregnant, and also raped and abused her before she left him.
Samantha found out she was Huntley’s daughter when she was 14 after seeing a pixilated photo of herself on the internet.
She wrote to him several times in prison asking to meet, to get some answers, but he rejected her requests.
Huntley, 52, was blinded and left in a vegetative state after he was attacked on February 26 by another lag with a spiked metal pole at HMP Frankland, Co Durham.

Samantha was told by her mum his life support had been turned off.
She said: “I felt relieved. I didn’t cry. I smiled. I was over the moon to be honest.
“I’m just glad he’s gone. It wasn’t as much of a shock as when I heard last week he’d been terribly injured as I thought he’d died then.
“So I was kind of expecting this call. But at the same time it is a shock to be told your biological father is dead. He’s nothing to me apart from biology.”
However she admitted that she still wanted him to suffer.
Samantha, from Cleethorpes, Lincs, said: “You’d normally never wish death on anyone but when it comes to people like him how could you not?
“I wanted him gone. Mostly for selfish reasons, but another part of me wanted him to stay alive so he would suffer.”

Tears rolled down her face and her voice broke as she thought of the families of Holly and Jessica, murdered by Huntley in Soham, Cambs, in 2002.
She said: “Over the years I’ve cried many times over the thought of Holly and Jessica and what their family have gone through. I don’t ever want Holly and Jessica to ever be forgotten.”
Katie, also from Cleethorpes, added: “As a mother my thoughts are also with the family of Holly and Jessica. Very much so. We should save our tears for them.”
Incredibly Katie revealed she had considered visiting Huntley at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary before his death.
She explained: “The last couple of days I felt I wanted to go and see him in hospital to make sure it was him. A tiny part of me feared this was an elaborate hoax in order to give him a new identity and protect him.
“Common sense told me that wasn’t the case, but in the dark of night a part of me feared that.
“Inside me, something needed reassurance that he was going to die. For that reason I am considering going to his funeral if one was held. There’s part of me that says absolutely not to go because I’m against a funeral happening.
“There’s also a part of me that thinks, if one is held, ‘Go and have the last word’. People go to pay respects. But he doesn’t deserve any of that. I’d want to go to make sure he’s really gone. I would never interfere with the service. But witnessing him physically gone would allow me to know it really is over.
“He raped me, he abused me. I was a 15-year-old girl. I live with that every day. It would give me some closure.”
Samantha said she now has to come to terms with never getting any answers from her father.
She said: “I do wish I had met him before he died for the reason just to see what he would say, if he was sat in front of me . . . if he had the chance. But now he’s gone I’m not going to hold on to that and wallow in the fact I’ve never met him. I have to accept I’m not going to get the answers I was seeking.
“Whatever kind of hold he’s had on me the whole time I’ve known about him and what he’s done, I’m going to no longer allow it to cloud my life. He’s gone. I don’t have to think about him any more. I don’t have to carry that burden with me.

“What he’s done will never leave me. But him not being here any more is definitely going to better my life and my mindset. I’ve had nightmares for years. Knowing he’s gone, I think the nightmares will now dissipate.”
Samantha revealed she would now consider talking for the first time to her biological gran Lynda Richards, who visited her son in hospital last week.
She said: “I can sympathise with his mum in certain respects as she has lost her son. He was the monster and not her. I’m never going to get answers from him now so maybe I can get some answers from just having a conversation with her.”
Katie told how she felt numb when she heard Huntley had died.
She said: “I thought I’d feel happy and relieved. I know I will do, but it just hasn’t hit yet. I really don’t know how I am feeling — as he had such a huge impact on my life for all the wrong reasons. But I know very soon the relief will hit me. Because the black cloud has lifted. It’s over. He’s finally out of our lives for good. I always knew he’d take his secrets to the grave.”
She is glad he will never meet their daughter.
Katie said: “I feared he’d come looking for us one day — both of us. Now I don’t have to live in fear any more.”
