Luba advertised new dance classes online following the news of her axing
Now, one axed star has already begun to tease her next venture.
The Sun revealed that Luba Mushtuk was one of the pro stars to be given the boot by bosses.
Now, she has revealed she will be teaching dance classes to members of the public in a bid to drum up some cash following her TV axing.
Taking to social media, Luba plugged a series of dance classes and workshops that she would be running.
She wrote online: “I’ve missed my dance classes so much, it feels like forever.
“I decided to sort this out.”
She went on to add that she would be holding a class at the end of the month in London.
Luba left an email address for potential attendees to register their interest and enquire about further information.
Luba is one of four pro stars to have been permanently axed from the contest with a further two only being offered part-time contracts.
Karen Hauer and Katya Jones are also still yet to discover their future bringing the current total of those affected by the bloodbath to eight.
A show insider said: “It’s been some time since there was a ‘churn’ in the pro line-up, but they do happen every few years and there hasn’t been a big one in some time.
“The way producers look at it is a little like running a football team: even after Man City win the league they still change their team around and bring in fresh blood constantly, to stay at the top of their game.
“A lot of the people going are now established names and stars in their own right but you have to remember that to be on the show, they also had to replace someone else at one point.”
Rumours have circulated that bosses are keen to make a fresh start to coincide with new presenters being brought in to replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who quit the long-running contest last series after 11 years’ co-hosting.
As well as Luba, Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, and Nadiya Bychkova have all been given their marching orders by bosses.
Nancy Xu and Neil Jones are also only being offered part-time contracts, it is understood – meaning they will not receive a celebrity partner and will only appear sporadically throughout the series.
