A furry friend is keeping her company as she takes a break from the screen
LONGTIME Fox & Friends meteorologist Janice Dean has assured fans she’s enjoying her time off camera after stepping away to focus on her health.

In her first post since announcing her exit, Dean shared a short video on social media showing her dog, Lola, racing through piles of leaves.
“Lola reminds us to be thankful for the little things in life,” Dean wrote in the caption.
“Piles of leaves and dirt can bring absolute joy (and zoomies!).
“Happy Thanksgiving, my friends. Love to you all. JD.”
Fans flooded the comment section of the post and shared their love and well-wishes for the host as she enjoys her time off.

“Happy Thanksgiving, and to good health,” wrote one fan.
Another said, “Happy Thanksgiving. God bless you and your family. Miss you so much.”
Dean’s post came after she stepped away from television and social media last month.
In a statement shared on November 12, the Fox News senior meteorologist explained that she would be taking a break from work to rest and focus on her health.
Although she reassured followers that she is doing OK, Dean acknowledged she needs time to heal.
“My bosses at Fox have been kind and understanding, and I feel blessed to be able to take a break to be with my family,” she said.
Dean also stressed that she wanted to address her absence directly, noting she has always been open with viewers about her life.
“I felt I owed you an explanation of my absence. But I will be back,” she added.
“Grateful to you all for the kind words. Much love, JD.”
While Dean did not reveal specifics about her current condition, she has previously spoken publicly about living with multiple sclerosis.
She was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease in 2005 after she experienced extreme fatigue during a trip to introduce her husband, a New York City firefighter, to her family.
Dean later detailed her journey with MS in her 2019 memoir, Mostly Sunny: How I Learned to Keep Smiling Through the Rainiest Days.
