Jennifer Aniston is undeniably an icon both on and off the red carpet. The Friends alum is a trendsetter in just about every category she weaves into her A-list lifestyle—from her signature, namesake hairstyle to her go-to fashion looks. However, her under-the-radar influence over fragrance should not be overlooked. The co-star of The Morning Show has five namesake scents that she’s bottled up over the years, as well as a hair-care line, LolaVie, which is also blessed with her favorite aromas.

“These fragrances speak volumes about Jennifer Aniston—someone who clearly knows what she likes,” says Chris Salgardo, a beauty expert and the CEO of Atwater skin care. “To the carefree spirit of Beach Scape and beyond, her scent choices reflect her unique personalities and styles. Every fragrance tells a story and becomes a part of her personal narrative.”

Perfumer Jeniece Trizzino adds that Aniston has a signature scent, which reads as sweet and sensual. This makes sense, considering that the Murder Mystery actress has an affinity for notes like jasmine, citrus, and vanilla. This may come as a surprise, but you won’t find scents from designer brands like Chanel or Dolce & Gabbana in Aniston’s perfume cabinet. She keeps it much more understated than that.

Keep reading to learn the actress’s favorite fragrances over the years, along with expert intel as to why she likely deems them worthy of a spritz.

Beachy Floral

As evidenced by Near Dusk by Jennifer Aniston (launched in 2015), Aniston is a fan of beachy, floral scents. “Near Dusk feels like a warm summer evening, with a mix of jasmine’s floral depth and the tropical sweetness of coconut water,” shares Salgardo. “The musk gives it a sensual finish that makes it perfect for those twilight moments when the sun is just about to set—it’s seductive yet understated.” Trizzino adds: “I genuinely love this fragrance—it’s sexy and sensual and so, so yummy—and I personally pick up on a lot of coconut, jasmine, vanilla, and warm skin musk notes, which are all things I love.”

Although Near Dusk is now discontinued, a similar option is Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Beach Walk Eau de Toilette. Like Near Dusk, it features notes of coconut and musk. For the floral element, it uses heliotrope, a powdery, vanilla-like scent instead of jasmine, a more classic and rich floral.
