JOSIE Gibson launched a blistering attack on David Haye live on Good Morning Britain – accusing the boxer of showing his “dark side” amid his I’m A Celeb clash with Adam Thomas.

The presenter and reality TV queen – who starred in the 2023 jungle series finishing fourth – was on Thursday’s ITV daytime show to talk about her own programme, How To Clean Up For Cash.

Though talk quickly turned to her pal Adam Thomas, and his rough experience on I’m A Celeb‘s latest All Stars series.

Adam, 37, was crowned the Ultimate Legend on Friday night after furious arguments broke out on-screen between him, David and Jimmy Bullard.

It’s after David and Jimmy argued the fight had been unfairly edited.

During their time in camp, in scenes which were filmed last year but aired this month, Emmerdale alum Adam was embroiled in a bullying row with David.

He struggled in the jungle with David’s constant jibes, but said he didn’t tell producers about how he was feeling as he attempted to power through.

David was slammed as a bully by viewers of the show after he took aim at Adam multiple times in camp – including criticizing him for not offering to take part in a trial due to illness.

Now Josie, 41, has had her say after being quizzed on the situation.

She admitted “lovely” Adam and his brothers Scott and Ryan were her mates, and the “kind of guys you’d like your daughter to bring home”

Addressing Adam’s situation directly she said: “What David Haye did to him is the dark side of fame.

“He saw him [Adam] as a winner and tried to play with his mind.

“It’s just not fair, it’s not right”.

On Friday, the I’m A Celeb finale was hit with 1,000 Ofcom complaints amid the bullying row.

Celebs have been quick to take sides, with David’s ex Una Healy publicly siding with Adam.

David previously accused the dad-of-two of lacking the “mental strength” to compete, although he later apologised.

Adam has said he spoke to his therapist about the way David treated him during filming in South Africa.

For his part, David denies the bullying claims, insisting it was all good faith banter coming from both sides.

Adam broke down in tears as he broke his silence in his family’s emotional podcast episode, which saw him speak out for the first time since the show’s dramatic final.

Elsewhere on the episode, he emotionally sad the negatives of his experience on the show will stick with him “for the rest of my life”.

Meanwhile, Josie’s telly career is going from strength to strength.

She has bagged her de-clutter show as part of a raft of new ITV programmes with much-loved presenters.

Away from the screen, she is also backing Iceland’s new campaign to kit out grassroots football teams.

The Kits for Kids initiative will see hundreds of children receive new kits, easing the financial burden on families.
