MAFS 2026 groom ‘never looked happier’ as he goes public with new partner

Another Married at First Sight Season 13 star has found love after calling it quits with his TV spouse

A Married at First Sight Australia groom has hard-launched his new girlfriend after his failed TV marriage.

Season 13 star Scott McCristal seemed to have a strong bond with wife Gia Fleur at the beginning of the experiment, with the duo even getting matching tattoos.

But their relationship slowly fell apart as the weeks flew by and ended before Final Vows. While Australian viewers have already seen how Gia and Scott’s romance came to an end, UK fans are still watching their marriage unfold on E4.

The finance broker has now introduced the world to new partner Brienna Stockdale, posting a collection of loved-up pictures on Instagram.

Brienna is a fitness model and registered nurse also from the Gold Coast. She runs a cosmetic clinic that offers beauty treatments including skin needling and light therapy.

The nurse reportedly treated Scott with Botox before his TV stint, and they reconnected after his split from Gia.

The MAFS groom previously teased his new romance, telling The Daily Mail: “There is someone in the picture, but I can’t really confirm anything because it’s early days.”

Fans are thrilled that the reality star has found a new flame. “This is awesome! So happy for you. Wishing you both all the best,” commented one.

Another viewer chimed in: “Actually never been happier for someone I don’t know.”

Scott’s sister, Paige, shared her own words of encouragement, penning: “I have never seen you so happy… I am so so happy for you both.”

Gia has also found love with Alan Wallace, a fellow reality star who featured on Australian dating show Love Triangle in 2023.

The 35-year-old made their relationship public on Instagram last month, posting a carousel of images. “3 months in secret, and forever in public to go,” she wrote in the caption.

The couple met while Gia was still with Scott but their romance blossomed after the MAFS couple split up.

UK fans have just one more week until this season’s Final Vows air on E4. Viewers will see the final dinner party on Thursday, May 7. This means the dreaded final ceremony will air on Monday, May 11.
