Love Island fans accuse star of being ‘producer plant’ after he sticks his oar into romance

LOVE Island fans have accused one Islander of being a “producer plant” after he dramatically stuck his oar into a fellow contestant’s romance.

Viewers were left baffled by the intervention, with many taking to social media to question why he appeared so invested in another couple’s relationship.

Fans have pointed to several moments involving Sean, claiming he always seems to be at the centre of the drama rather than focusing on his own romantic connections.

Many viewers referenced the time he encouraged Yasmin to meet Lorenzo on the terrace, arguing it was another example of him stirring the pot and influencing other Islanders’ relationships.

Some have even branded him a “producer plant”, suggesting he is being used to keep storylines moving and tensions bubbling in the villa.

Taking to social media, one viewer said: “producer fitzy clocking in overtime today”

Another added: “i dont really like Sean playing producer and manufacturing moments it feels a bit inauthentic and breaking the 4th wall no lie.”

A third penned: “Sean is definitely getting exposed as a producer on movie night. He has had a hand in everyone’s relationship so far.”

This comes after Lorenzo turned to Sean for advice over his complicated love triangle with Yasmin, who has been torn between her connections with both Aidan and Lorenzo.

Despite Yasmin choosing not to kiss Lorenzo in a bid to show respect to Aidan, Sean encouraged him to take matters into his own hands and pull her to the terrace for a kiss anyway.

But will Lorenzo follow his pal’s controversial advice?

Meanwhile, Yasmin remains undecided as she continues to weigh up which connection she wants to pursue, leaving both boys anxiously waiting to discover where her head is really at.

Tonight’s episode will see Yasmin finally lean in for a kiss with Lorenzo, potentially taking their romance to the next level after days of uncertainty.

But has she made her choice?

Or could the long-awaited kiss leave her realising her feelings for Aidan are actually stronger?

With emotions running high and both boys still in the running, viewers will have to wait and see whether the smooch seals the deal or only complicates matters further.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
