Northamptonshire Police has now confirmed three people have been re-arrested by detectives investigating the murder.
The teenage boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, had been previously charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
On Monday, all three were arrested on suspicion of unlawful act manslaughter.
They have subsequently been released on bail pending further investigation.
At the time of the incident, emergency services received a call to reports that two people had been stabbed “during an altercation”.
A 17-year-old also sustained life-threatening injuries in the attack and was raced to hospital in critical condition and fighting for his life.
Seven people were initially arrested in connection with the attack in a complex and fast-paced investigation, police said.
The investigation has seen officers carrying out house-to-house enquiries with an increased police presence in the area, including high-visibility patrols to offer reassurance and support the community.
At the time, Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Matt Bly, of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) said that it was a fast-moving investigation.
In a statement he said: “This remains a murder investigation, and our thoughts first and foremost remain with Mason’s family at this difficult time.
“The family understandably are still trying to come to terms with Wednesday’s tragic events and, as such, have asked for complete privacy at this time.”
DI Bly added: “We are continuing to work across a number of fronts to piece together what happened and to determine who is responsible.
“The public’s co-operation will be key to this, and I would urge anyone with information to come forward – including CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage – to contact the Force as a matter of urgency.”
Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
