I’m A Celebrity South Africa is reportedly not returning for another three years, despite the latest series attracting a large viewership. The claims come just days after the explosive live finale, which saw hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly having to calm contestants down. During the heated series, the fallout between Jimmy Bullard and winner Adam Thomas caused walkouts and arguments within the camp. As part of the live finale, Sinnita even walked off from the set as a row erupted between David Haye and Jimmy about Adam. When they were in the African Bush, David was accused of bullying Waterloo Road actor Adam, while ex-footballer Jimmy locked horns with the star during a trial.

It’s understood ITV will not be bringing back the All Stars version of the show as an annual event.

A source told The Sun: “The aim was never for it to be made or be on air in 2027, even though there may be an appetite for that right now. The aim was to deliver something as a special show that was on from time to time, not an annual revisit like the main I’m A Celebrity show.”

ITV has been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.

Almost three million ITV viewers tuned in to watch the dramatic finale on Friday night.

Earlier today, the channel shared details of the voting, with Adam getting 51 per cent of the votes.

Sir Mo Farah got 32 per cent, Harry Redknapp got nine per cent, and Craig Charles had eight per cent.

The normal version of the programme, which is filmed in Queensland, Australia and hosted by Ant and Dec, is due to return to screens later this year.
