Sister of missing Brazilian woman, 30, issues heartfelt plea after she vanished 100 days ago in UK seaside town
FEARS are growing after the search for a Brazilian woman hits 100 days, as her heartbroken sister begs people not to give up.
Vitoria Figueiredo Barreto disappeared after visiting a friend in Colchester on March 3, and has not been seen since.

The 30-year-old was reported missing later that day, with concerns growing for her wellbeing.
Vitoria’s sister – Marina – has urged people to keep checking properties, outbuildings and hiding spaces for any trace of her.
She thanked all those who had helped so far in the search, but emphasised that she will “leave no doubt unanswered”.
Marina said: “I’m coming first of all to thank everyone who continues to make an effort to bring her back home.

Vitoria’s last confirmed sightings have been revealed, with the marina being her last known location

“We don’t know exactly what has happened to her, where she may have gone, or anything like that.
“But if there is any possibility of finding her, I ask that we come together and leave no doubt unanswered.”
Essex Police have released CCTV footage of Vitoria in the hope of uncovering what happened to the woman.
It is known that after visiting her friend at Essex University, Vitoria jumped on the number 87 bus from Wivenhoe to Brightlingsea.

At around 1.30pm she arrived at Bellfield Avenue and was captured on doorbell cameras around Hurst Green.
However, the hunt then took a turn as new CCTV footage revealed a person walking across a field south of Hurst Green – this is believed to be Vitoria.
Further videos were then found, showing the woman jumping over a fence into a boatyard in Brightlingsea at 12.16am on March 4.
Her movements were captured at an industrial site close to the Brightlingsea Creek and the marina at 12.22am.

This is now her last confirmed sighting.
Vitoria was last seen wearing a dark coat, blue turtleneck jumper, light blue jeans and black trainers.
It was previously reported by The Sun how her white shoulder bag had been discovered days later on March 9, near the industrial site she was seen walking through.
On March 14, her laptop was also found.
Police reported on March 11 that a boat was located adrift in the water close to Bradwell-on-Sea after being unmoored near Copperas Road where Vitoria’s bag was discovered.
It is now being investigated whether it was Vitoria who unmoored the boat a day after disappearing.
Detective Superintendent Anna Granger said: “Whilst we are not able to conclusively say that it was Vitoria who unmoored that boat, this new confirmed sighting brings her closer to that area and does strengthen the view that it was her.
“We’ve always based our searches on the basis that the person is Vitoria but we would dearly love to provide her loved ones with certainty – and we’re continuing to work to do that.
“We’re continuing to work with international partners to gain access to Vitoria’s communication and financial data which we hope could open up further lines of enquiry.
“All our requests have been made through the correct channels and we’re ready to receive that information as soon as possible.
“I would again appeal to anyone with information which could help us find Vitoria to please come forward. Did you see her walking in a field between Back Waterside Lane and Mill Street on the afternoon of March 3? Have you seen her since the early hours of March 4?
“Vitoria’s loved ones have many questions and we’re working incredibly hard to give them the answers they need.”
