As wild as it sounds, we’re somehow already staring down the last stretch of 2025. This is the point in the year when everyone’s juggling holiday plans, half-finished to-do lists, and a streaming queue that’s probably begging for mercy. And yet, Netflix refuses to slow down.

We may be heading toward the end of the year, but the streamer still has a good amount of new and returning shows that it wants to release. And honestly? We’re not complaining. In this article, we’ve shared three upcoming Netflix series we’re still genuinely excited to watch before the year wraps. These are the ones that absolutely deserve a spot on your end-of-year binge list!

Emily in Paris season 5

Paris is calling… and Emily Cooper is answering! Well, apparently, Rome is calling too after the previous season. Emily in Paris is set to return with its fifth season on Netflix next week, and we can hardly contain our excitement.

The fourth installment left off with Emily being offered a major career opportunity as the head of Agence Grateau’s new Rome office and her and charming Roman heir Marcello happily together. But in Emily in Paris season 5, Emily quickly discovers that balancing two glamorous cities, a high-profile career, and a complicated love life is easier said than done.

After an explosive season opener, Stranger Things 5 returns with the last two batches of its final season this month. But as much as we’re excited to see how everything wraps up, it’s also bittersweet knowing that the story of Hawkins and our favorite characters is finally coming to an end.

The first half of the season saw Vecna capture Mike and Nancy’s younger sister, Holly, along with a bunch of other kids, and take them to the Upside Down. We also saw a major character gain powers and the return of another character we hadn’t seen since season 2. Stranger Things 5 is all about the Hawkins gang finally taking down Vecna, but it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. We’re sure there will be one last huge battle between them and Vecna, but will they all make it out alive?
