Our Yorkshire Farm star Clive Owen reflected on his future running the farm and who he will “pass the baton on to” when he retires. Clive made the admission after he and Amanda discussed the weather and how it can affect their crops during last night’s Our Farm Next Door.

“It is a young fellas’ game,” Clive told the camera. “I am almost 70 now, so I have got to think about what comes next. It is something the family are discussing at the moment to see where the future lies for everyone.”

Clive laughed as he added, “It is nice for me to pass on my shears.”

Later on in the episode, Clive shared an update, “We are just beginning to shear sheep. I think Amanda is going to shear and Milo a bit later, and I am not if I can avoid it.”

Sharing an insight into his relationship with his ex-wife Amanda, the farmer went on, “Me and Amanda, for some crazy reason, it has worked out alright.

“We are not together, but we can keep things going to suit everybody, and that is what we intend to do.”

Amanda added, “Things are good, and I think being busy plays a huge part in keeping everybody’s focus.”

In another segment, Miles also shared his plans for the future, admitting he wanted to do something “to do with agriculture”.

He said, “I am the eldest here now on the farm, so now, a lot of the pressure is on me, you could say, but it is just one of those things.

“I hadn’t thought about the future and what I’d wanna do that far yet, but definitely something with agriculture. But there is a lot more agriculture in the world than just hill farms.”

Clive added, “What the future holds, you can never quite be sure. It is something the family are discussing at the moment to see where the future lies for everyone.”

Elsewhere in the episode, the Owen family celebrated Nancy’s birthday, and fans couldn’t get over how grown-up she looked.

“I am enjoying the second part of the series, can’t believe how tall and different the girls look,” one fan wrote.

“Lovely photo, how time flies,” another said while a third added, “OMG, how is Nancy nine already?”

“They are all growing up so fast, especially Nancy,” someone else noted.

Another agreed, “Oh my, so grown up.”

One fan also compared Nancy to Raven, saying the sisters looked alike.
