Meghan Markle’s one upon a time BFF is going through a divorce and she’s blaming her former friend for her marriage problems, it’s being said.

Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney were once thick as thieves, but the two had a falling out, and now Jessica is expressing regret over the time she spent with the Duchess, whose birthday happens to be today. 

According to insiders, Jessica “considered Meghan family,” but now thinks of that time in her life as a “dark cloud.”

One may wonder why this is coming up now, and it’s being said, the falling out between Meghan and Jessica, was so upsetting for Jessica, that it impacted her marriage. It comes as Meghan, who is celebrating her 44th birthday, made an ‘inappropriate’ request to the Royal family that was denied.

Meghan and Jessica met in 2011, when they were both living and working in Toronto, and the two reportedly hit it if off straight away and became close friends with Jessica even playing a pivotal role at Meghan’s wedding in 2018.

But in 2021, following a controversial moment when Jessica was accused of exhibiting white privilege during the Black Lives Matter movement, the bond was broken.

People expected Meghan to stand up for her friend, which she did not, and from there, the two became estranged.

She explained: “I’m not diagnosing Jessica Mulroney, but, I’m just saying, the way Meghan treated this woman, was really, really bad.”
