AFTER NEARLY TWO WEEKS OF DISAPPEARANCE, THE FIRST MAJOR CLUE HAS EMERGED… BUT 24-YEAR-OLD EVAN SINCLAIR REMAINS MISSING WITHOUT A TRACE
The car of a missing Melbourne man who vanished almost two weeks ago has been found in bushland hundreds of kilometres from his home, as police continue their search to find him.
Evan Sinclair, a 24-year-old Belgrave man, was last seen leaving his home on McNicol Rd around midnight on July 31.
Victoria Police have revealed Mr Sinclair’s distinctive yellow Holden Commodore has now been found in East Gippsland’s Wingan State Forest.

“Evan is still missing despite a thorough search of the Wingan State Forest over the weekend,” a police spokesman said in a statement.
“Police and family have concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is completely out of character.”
Mr Sinclair’s car had previously been seen travelling through Bairnsdale and Cann River in the early hours of August 1.
Police were joined by search and rescue team, Airwing and K9 units, SES and representatives from Fisheries Victoria to search for Mr Sinclair in Wingan State Forest over the weekend.

They will continue to search on Tuesday and have now expanded their search into Croajingolong National Park.
Police said there has been no activity from Mr Sinclair’s bank accounts and social media pages since he disappeared.
