A COUPLE allegedly gunned down by their own son had paid $10,000 to bail him out of jail just nine days before all three were found dead inside their home.
The heartbreaking twist emerged after deputies revealed Justin Sislo, 35, had been facing a slew of domestic violence charges before authorities say he killed his parents and then himself.

Steve M. Sislo, 76, and Donna M. Walker-Sislo, 72, were discovered alongside their son at their home on McCormick Road in the town of Madison, New York, on Friday.
Deputies had been sent to the rural property for a welfare check after a neighbor called 911 saying “something was wrong.”
When officers arrived, they were hit by a strong smell of propane and could hear gas escaping from inside the house.
They peered through a first-floor window and spotted two adults who were “obviously deceased,” according to authorities.

A third body was then found inside, and investigators recovered a firearm at the scene.
All three had suffered gunshot wounds, with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office saying evidence points to Justin killing his parents before taking his own life.
But new details released by investigators have now revealed the disturbing events leading up to the suspected double murder-suicide.
Justin had been arrested on July 29 following an investigation into accusations that he assaulted a 56-year-old woman with whom he had been romantically involved.
The case began after Moravia Police contacted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office over allegations stemming from a July 2 domestic incident.
Investigators were told Justin had allegedly committed further offenses against the same woman in Madison County, prompting a separate probe.
Deputies searched Justin’s Hill Road home on July 29 and seized multiple firearms along with other evidence, WSYR reported.
He was hit with 24 charges, including second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, first-degree reckless endangerment and promoting a suicide attempt.
Prosecutors recommended that Justin be held on $50,000 cash bail following his arrest.
But Judge Fisher instead set bail at $10,000 — which Steve and Donna paid that same day after their son was arraigned.
Justin was released from custody and returned to the community.
Investigators said he was already out on another $10,000 bail stemming from separate charges in Cayuga County when he was arrested in Madison County.
He was also subject to two temporary orders of protection that prohibited him from possessing firearms.
Despite that restriction, deputies recovered a gun from his parents’ home after finding the three bodies nine days later.
Authorities have also revealed that Justin had previously been involved in a domestic incident with his father in March 2024.
No charges were filed over that earlier incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
The grim discovery on Friday initially triggered extra precautions because of the gas leaking inside the property.
Authorities evacuated the immediate area while emergency crews dealt with the suspected propane leak.
It remains unclear what role, if any, the escaping gas played in the deaths.
The sheriff’s office has stressed that investigators believe the violence was contained to the home and there was no wider threat.

“The incident is isolated and there is no danger to the public,” officials said.
The investigation into the suspected double murder-suicide remains ongoing.
