SHE HAD ALWAYS BEEN A LOVELY MOTHER…! – NEIGHBORS REVEAL WHAT LIFE WAS LIKE FOR THE YOUNG FAMILY BEFORE THE DEVASTATING CLIFF TRAGEDY
Locals close to the couple described the Wrights as a regular, happy family and said they were the perfect neighbours.
A coronial investigation will examine the cause and circumstances surrounding the deaths, with police saying there was “zero” likelihood the baby would be found.
Police said based on current evidence, the matter was being investigated as a murder-suicide.
They said her husband Brad, who lived with Ms Wright at Compton – small locality outside Mount Gambier – was seen leaving for work on the day of the tragedy, and it seemed like a normal Monday morning.
The neighbours said the family were very private but always had time for a chat, were always helpful and engaging.

“Helena would have Hazel on the swing, and he had Louis strapped to him, and they would be out on that swing for hours,” she said.
The neighbours said Helena was a “bubbly” character who loved her garden and often shared kind banter with other locals.
“They’re very religious … they go to the church every Sunday,” they said.
The neighbours said Helena was a stay-at-home mum who enjoyed making children’s clothes.
The Advertiser understands those close to Helena had recognised she was struggling with her mental health.
However, the neighbours said she appeared to be a “great mother”
“(We) never heard a raised voice (from the home) … they were great neighbours, just fantastic.”
Ms Wright was born in the Northern European country of Estonia, according to Facebook.
