Meghan Markle launched her second load of As Ever wine this week, and it had a very different outcome to the first launch. Just days ago, the Duchess of Sussex’s brand launched its second batch of Napa Valley Rosé, which came from a 2024 vintage as opposed to the previous 2023 bottles.

While the first launch in July was a quick sell-out success, this hasn’t been the case this time around, with bottles of the rosé still available to purchase. Although some may see this as a sign that the brand’s popularity may be dwindling, one expert believes it is actually a “good thing”.

This is because it may suggest that Meghan’s brand has sorted out any existing stock issues, which may have previously contributed to all As Ever launches selling out within hours, much to the upset of customers.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: “I think it’s a good thing that the new wine drop hasn’t sold out yet – it shows that they have solved the problem with stock issues – no one wants to come and buy something that’s constantly sold out!

“This shows that the team is committed to increasing the amount of product they have on sale and allows fans and consumers to purchase the product.

“I think they are also in their test phase as to what sells and what doesn’t – they want to see if wine is going to hit a sweet spot with fans before they decide to build on that part of the brand.”

As wine is still available to buy, Meghan, who turned 44 on Monday, is continuing to promote it on the As Ever Instagram page.

Sharing a video of herself on Thursday holding a silver tray with two glasses and a bottle of the wine, the caption read: “Well served, and well deserved. Cheers!”

The wine is priced at £22 a bottle and is sold in batches of three, six, or twelve.
