An Australian man who died after being found on a hotel balcony in Bali last week has been identified as Jamie Cusack, as his loved ones share heartfelt tributes.
According to local police, the 30-year-old was found in distress on a second-floor balcony at a hotel in the popular beachside area of Seminyak about 4.15am on Wednesday.
Seminyak is one of Bali’s busiest tourist hubs, known for its beachside resorts, nightlife and popular bars.

Officers had earlier identified him by the initials JRTC.
Police said he was still breathing and able to speak when he was discovered by his 22-year-old girlfriend, before being rushed to Siloam Hospital in an unconscious state.
He was later pronounced dead about 8.10am local time.

Authorities said the couple had returned to the hotel about 1.30am after a night out, before an argument after which Cusack went to sleep on a daybed on the balcony.
When his partner woke during the night, she found him unresponsive and alerted hotel staff, who called emergency services, police said.
“Officers are still conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of death,” local police said.
In the wake of his death, his partner Jess Grigora has launched a fundraiser to help his family bring his body home.
It’s understood Cusack had been living on the Gold Coast.
“My name is Jess, Jamie’s significant other, and someone who loved him deeply,” she wrote in the GoFundMe.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Jamie Cusack in Bali on Wednesday.
“He meant so much to so many, and his loss has left a deep void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.
“Jamie had the most infectious smile and a cheeky sense of humour that people were naturally drawn to.
“He loved and cared deeply for his family and friends, always bringing warmth, laughter and light into every room.
“He loved a good bit of rugby league, a chicken parmi and being surrounded by the people he loved most.”

She said the fundraiser would help ease the significant costs already incurred to bring him home, as well as funeral expenses, so he can be given “the beautiful farewell he deserves”.
“I’ve created this page with the support of his family as we come together to support those who loved him most during this incredibly difficult time,” she wrote.
