William & Kate Looked Calm — But Something Was Different at Balmoral After Harry & Meghan’s Shock Return News
PRINCE William and Princess Kate led the royals arriving at church today just days after Meghan and Harry’s shock return was revealed.
The royals have gathered for a Sunday service at the tiny granite Crathie Kirk, near the famous Balmoral estate.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were also present
Troops from Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, provided a guard of honour as the family members arrived at the church in Aberdeenshire.
King Charles and Queen Camilla were also present while William was driving a Range Rover which carried Kate and the couple’s three children.
The Princess Royal and her husband Sir Tim Laurence were in another of the cars, and The Duke of Edinburgh and his daughter Lady Louise were in another vehicle.
A crowd of onlookers had gathered outside the front of the church to witness their arrival.
The Royal Family’s annual summer gathering at Balmoral began earlier this week.
It offers a period of respite from their public duties.

The Wales’ looked in good spirits as they arrived despite a bombshell week for the royal family

The summer gathering included the King and Queen, plus the Prince and Princess of Wales – who haven’t yet reacted to the news of the Sussexes returning.
Prince William and Kate were pictured driving alongside several security vehicles on the Aberdeenshire estate on Friday.
But we previously reported that the Balmoral gathering had turned into a meeting to discuss the return of Harry and Meghan, six years after Megxit.
The family were at the estate when the news broke publicly, but the King was told of Harry’s return three days before.
It echoes the Sandringham Summit in 2020 when the Sussexes first announced they wanted to leave.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected back in the UK at the end of August and are set to remain for an “extended period”.
The couple have reportedly enrolled Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, at schools ahead of the new academic year in September.
They are expected to remain in Britain while Archie and Lilibet are in education – even though they have their home in California, where they are protected by private security.
Sources say if there are discussions on any future role for Harry it would need to take place between him and his father, the King.
It is understood that Meghan will also continue to run As Ever, her food and lifestyle brand, while living in the UK.
We previously reported that Harry and Meghan secretly visited the Cotswolds to find a new home when they came to Britain last month.
The Duchess of Sussex is understood to have also discreetly gone there alone while Harry was at an Invictus Games event in Birmingham.
