Filip and Stella‘s engagement was one of the most breathtaking moments for Married at First Sight (MAFS), and they’re already talking wedding plans and babies.
In an interview with Chattr, Filip revealed that whilst they won’t be rushing into locking in their wedding elements just yet, they’re “going to have a beautiful engagement” adding that the wedding will take place in Croatia next year.
“We’re thinking if we’re going to Europe to visit my family next year, we’re probably going to do it down there,” he explained. “All my family’s over there in Croatia, so, like, it just makes sense for us to do it there,” he continued. “It’s definitely going to be a lot more low-key than what it was on TV.”
And, it sounds like they already have a venue locked in: “We know a place,” Filip coyly responded when asked about specifics in Croatia.
Stella told Chattr that she and Filip will be having a small wedding this time, joking that they had invited “half of the world” to the first one.
“I know that it’s going to be a small elopement, just the closest family members… We’ll keep it small and intimate.”
The MAFS bride added that her real wedding to Filip will have an adorable nod to their first TV wedding.
“Actually, I wouldn’t mind wearing my initial MAFS wedding dress. I actually love that dress,” she shared.
Stella and Filip reveal baby plans are ‘on the horizon’
First comes love, second comes marriage, then comes baby sitting in a carriage, and this is exactly what it looks like for Stella and Filip when asked about starting a family.
“Yeah, so it’s on the horizon. It’s, it’s not going to be too, too long,” Filip continued. “But, yeah, we’re just, we’re just doing our thing right now. We’re absorbing this wave, and we’re enjoying this stage. We’re very, very optimistic for the future. I’ll put it that way.”
Stella chimed in that she’d be “happy with one” child, and we can’t help but hope they’ll be making babies sooner rather than later!
When Chattr asked Stella earlier in the season what her and Filip’s baby would look like, she said she’d think they’d get some “bloody good genes.”
“Filip is tall, dark and handsome, and his mum is petite — a strong little lady,” she continued. “I think the kids would have quite good genes. I was just saying I’d love to have a blue-eyed baby.”
Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 Reunion airs Sunday and Monday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
