SHE WAS ONLY 11… A court has convicted a mother after hearing evidence that her young daughter was allegedly abused by her husband, became pregnant, and was made to give birth at home without any medical assistance.

An 11-year-old girl gave birth at home without any medical help. When police investigated further, they made a horrific discovery about her family.

A depraved mother has been convicted of letting her husband abuse her 11-year-old daughter before forcing the girl to give birth to his child in their faeces-filled home.

Cherie Walker, 34, was convicted on Friday of child neglect and enabling child sexual abuse, just two weeks after her husband, Dustin Walker, was given a life sentence for his abuse.

Jurors have recommended the mum also get life in prison for allowing the abuse, which only ended with an investigation into the girl giving birth last August without medical help.

Police launched an investigation when the 11-year-old victim was-taken to the hospital after giving birth on August 16.

The husband and wife were charged after the girl and her five siblingers were found living in “deplorable conditions” in her home in Oklahoma.

A DNA test then revealed that Dustin Walker – the young girl’s stepfather – was the baby’s father and his charges were upgraded.

“This is one of the most, if not the most, serious child sexual abuse and neglect cases I have ever prosecuted,” Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson said at the time.

“This child is traumatised. She’s been through a horrific ordeal,” she said.

“I mean, not only has somebody gotten her pregnant, but she gave birth at home without medical assistance, and this will be her life for the rest of her life.”

Dustin Walker pleaded guilty in March to child sexual abuse and was sentenced last month.

“It’s very emotional to realise that a child at the age of 10 and 11 was having sex with their stepfather, that she became pregnant and no one took her to the doctor and she gave birth at home,” the prosecutor said at his sentencing.

“When you complicate that with the severe, deplorable, uninhabitable conditions of that home, to know that’s where she gave birth, where those children lived, without even the ability to get a drink of water in the middle of the night.”

During the investigation, authorities also discovered five other children shared by Walker and his wife – aged two, four, six, seven and nine- were living in ‘deplorable conditions’.

The victims were found to be in a home with ‘dog faeces’ and had ‘no clothing on’, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.

It’s also believed there was urine everywhere as well as ‘no air conditioning and no running water’.

Following the investigation, child protection authorities immediately removed all six children from the household and it’s understood they’re in state care.

The victim’s grandmother, Michelle Justus, is also charged with child neglect, and will go on trial later this month.

She claimed that she and the Walkers didn’t know the child was pregnant.

The other kids have since all been removed from the home.

“My hope is that with justice, these children will find some permanency and a better place,” the DA said.
