Prince George is marking a new milestone as he turns 13 today, with the young royal expected to have the day made very special for himself. The future King will undoubtedly be spoilt rotten by his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales and is likely to spend the day with his family, including his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as he enters his teenage years.
George’s grandparents, the King and Queen, and the Middletons are likely to send their best wishes to their grandchild today. Here, as the second in line to the British throne celebrates his special day, the Daily Express takes a look at some of his best moments.
Prince George was born in 2012

Prince George Alexander Louis was born at 4.24 pm on July 22, 2012, at St Mary’s Hospital in London. The Prince and Princess of Wales take Prince George on tour

The young future King went on his first royal tour at just 10 months old, joining his parents on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2014. Royal fans were over the moon when they saw the Waleses joined by George. The young royal’s visit to Australia echoed the memories of his father, who also accompanied Prince Charles and Princess Diana to the country when the prince was a baby in the 1980s.

Prince George at Trooping the Colour in 2015

George made his Trooping the Colour debut just a few weeks shy of his second birthday, in June 2015. The future King was already a big brother by then, following Princess Charlotte’s birth a month earlier. Royal fans were delighted when they caught a glimpse of the royal in a light blue shirt with white frills and matching shorts that appeared identical to the outfit William wore, aged two, in 1984. The historic day marked the first time the late Queen, now-King Charles, Prince William and Prince George appeared in public together.

William and Catherine also took George to Canada with them when they visited the country in 2016. Charlotte had also joined them on the trip, which was her first official royal tour. George, then aged three, was dressed in a navy jumper, red shorts, and navy socks when he first arrived in the country.
