Netflix is once again streaming a popular trilogy of films with terrible Rotten Tomatoes ratings that fans still can’t seem to get enough of.

Beginning in 2015, this risqué romantic saga is based on a series of novels that became a global phenomenon, with more than 150 million copies sold.

The first film in the series scored just 25 percent on RT, with the subsequent two films faring even worse, both with ratings of 11 percent.

Despite the critical reception, the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, which includes Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, have become enduring guilty pleasures that fans can’t help but revisit.

Dakota Johnson stars as Anastasia Steele, a young student who becomes entangled in an erotic and sometimes dangerous affair with billionaire Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan).

Based on the books by EL James, the franchise catapulted erotica back into the mainstream and sparked controversy and heated debate around its depiction of steamy BDSM sex scenes.

Netflix subscribers can now freely enjoy this explicit guilty pleasure as all three films are now streaming again as of this week.

It could even make for the perfect weekend viewing party for those in the mood for a boozy movie marathon after getting through Dry January, especially if you’re waiting to get hot under the collar again with the second half of Bridgerton’s new season.

One IMDb user admitted in a 10/10 review for the first film: “I cannot stop watching this movie.

“Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson became Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, bringing them to life on screen and creating believable, fully-formed characters surprised to be falling in love.

“The cinematography and the grey theme throughout are poignant, and the sex is downright artful.”

Another fan gushed: “Fifty Shades of Grey is kind of iconic. Not because it’s ‘perfect cinema’, but because it does exactly what it promises: gives you a messy, dramatic, high-tension romance with vibes.

“The whole aesthetic – the soundtrack, the grey-on-grey world, the luxury fantasy – hits in this really addictive way. And Christian and Ana’s dynamic? Toxic at times, sure, but also magnetic as hell. It keeps you watching like, ‘Okay… maybe one more scene’.”

The raves continued on Letterboxd, where one user admitted: “I unapologetically love this movie and you can’t do a damn thing about it.”

And a final fan shared: “I don’t care. This movie is so entertaining and unhinged, and I love it more each time I watch it.”
