“She’s remembered the cameras are rolling and we’re watching.”

Love Island: All Stars has aired a lukewarm resolution to one of this season’s early love triangles, but fans aren’t too convinced of the genuine feelings behind it. Following the Villa USA twist, Belle Hassan couldn’t hide how upset she was with Sean Stone, who had his head turned by bombshell Lucinda Strafford.
Sean didn’t lose an opportunity to kiss Belle during a game of Spin the Bottle, adding to the confusion.
After Belle’s strong reaction to the betrayal, which saw her call Lucinda “a snake”, tonight’s episode saw the two women appear to clear the air, though some viewers criticised Lucinda’s speech, calling it “damage control”.
Lucinda pulled Belle for a chat, saying: “I’m really sorry, I do feel dreadful… you deserve better than him anyway.”

Belle managed to keep calm, insisting: “I think you do as well, to be honest. What [Sean] did in that challenge wasn’t fair on you or me… I pray you don’t get hurt.”
The girls hugged it out and seemed ready to move on, and Lucinda later urged Sean to apologise to Belle.
He complied, but Belle reminded him he made a “bold” decision and needed to own it. “As a strong woman, I deserve a strong man. And that ain’t f**king you,” she said. “I appreciate your apology, I don’t believe it… I literally don’t care what’s coming out of your mouth.”
While Sean later acknowledged that Belle had “every right [to be upset]”, fans sided with her, taking to social media to criticise both his and Lucinda’s apologies.
“love island trying to have lucinda do damage control tf?” one fan wrote on Twitter/X, while someone on Instagram reacted: “What!!! Am I watching????? Did they all get told off and told to apologise?!?!”

“It’s giving producers had a word with Lucinda now she’s changed her tone,” a third viewer wrote. “I may be wrong tho.”
“more like producers had a word with Belle with her potty mouth,” someone else replied.
“She’s remembered the cameras are rolling and we’re watching,” was another comment, as another fan slammed Sean’s “fake” apology, saying he and Lucinda are “both as bad”.

Unsurprisingly, in the final recoupling twist, Sean decided to act on his “feelings” for Lucinda.
“We both had complicated journeys in here so far,” he said, acknowledging their connection came at the cost of “other people’s feelings”.
“Bollocks,” Belle muttered under her breath, as Sean continued his speech, insisting he was in the game “for love”.
Sean picked a beaming Lucinda, while Belle rekindled her friendship couple with Jack Keating — and we just have an inkling about which pair will be the subject of the pals’ gossip sessions.
