A new clue has emerged in the search for 24-year-old Evan Sinclair, who disappeared after leaving his home on McNicol Road in Belgrave
A bright yellow Holden Commodore belonging to a man who has been missing since late last month has been found hundreds of kilometres from his home east of Melbourne.
Evan Sinclair, 24, was last seen leaving his home in the car on McNicol Road in Belgrave after midnight on July 31.

Sinclair’s Commodore was last seen travelling through Bairnsdale and Cann River in the early hours of August 1. Sinclair has not been seen since.
Police have confirmed his car had been found on Saturday in the Wingan State Forest in East Gippsland.
The forest is around 330 kilometres east of Sinclair’s home.
Despite finding his car, Sinclair still hasn’t been located, despite officers conducting a thorough search of the forest over the weekend.

Air and K9 units were drafted to try and find Sinclair, but authorities did not find any sign of him.
His disappearance is being described as out of character.
Sinclair is described as caucasian, about 183 centimetres tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He also has a distinctive tattoo reading “veni, vidi, vici”, which police have shared.
Police are continuing to search Wingan State Forest and the Croajingolong National Park today.
