SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – It is not every day in Shreveport-Bossier that front desk attendants have a celebrity come through the door.

Rob Spears, the gym manager at Fit Nation Bossier City, says it was just a typical day when their front desk received an out-of-the-ordinary request, a large number of day passes. When asked if they were aware of what the passes were for, he says they had no idea.

“The front desk receptionists did not know what was going on until a large amount of people started coming in.”

That’s when staff realized rapper and businessman Curtis 50 Cent Jackson was entering the building.

The gym posted the exciting surprise stop on their Facebook account.

Stating in the post “In case y’all missed it, we had a surprise visitor for all of last week. Thank you 50 Cent for trusting us with your gains while you visited Shreveport/Bossier.”

The post also included photos of 50 Cent at the gym and posing with guests and Bossier City Police Officers.

At the time of this article, the post has garnered over 70 shares, with Fit Nation gym members taking pride in the fact that the visit was held at their home gym.

The visit occurred one month after Mayor Tom Arceneaux and 50 Cent were seen on a video call celebrating the official signing of the Stageworks lease. An agreement that moves forward the businessman’s plans for upcoming projects in the Shreveport area.
