KATIE Price has shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day message to her terminally ill mum Amy – after leaving her ‘worried’ following a whirlwind romance and wedding.

Currently in hospital, the former glamour model’s mum was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis [IPF], a terminal lung disease, back in 2017.

At the time, Amy was given a life expectancy of three to five years.

Joining the slew of celebs marking Mother’s Day on Sunday, Katie shared a clip of herself with mum Amy to her Instagram Stories.

She wrote: “Mum I adore you

“You mean so much to me i’d be LOST without you.

“There’s no words to describe how much I love you. Keep strong, keep fighting HAPPY MOTHERS DAY,” signed off Katie.

Katie’s relationship with her family, particularly mum Amy and sister Sophie, has been rocky over recent months following her shock wedding to Lee Andrews.

The mum-of-five married businessman Lee in Dubai in January just ten days after meeting him, shocking both her fans and her family back home.

Her family were understood to have been left furious and taken aback – with insiders revealing they were secretly fuming about the wedding.

And when we unmasked Lee as a fantasist who had several AI generated snaps on his Instagram and fake celebrity links, the family were left worried that Katie was being ‘scammed’.

They were even thought to have stopped speaking to Katie, with the star pausing her podcast, which she co-hosts alongside sister Sophie for over a month.

Returning to the podcast last week with a new episode, Katie detailed how her mum is currently in hospital – and said they’re back on talking terms.

Sophie said: “Mum has been horrendous. Is she even talking to you yet?”

“Of course she is. I went and saw her in the hospital,” said Katie.

Detailing the visit, Katie added: “I gave her a big hug. I went to mum and she cried like that.”

Appearing to suggest why her mum was so upset, Sophie interjected: “You’ve traumatized us all again.”
