CHILLING DETAILS EMERGE AS HOMICIDE DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE MAN’S D*ATH IN AUSTRALIND
Two men are being questioned by police over a man’s death in Australind, 150 kilometres south of Perth.
The victim, aged in his 20’s, was found critically injured, but alive, at a bus stop on The Boulevard and was rushed to hospital but couldn’t be saved.
It’s unclear if his injuries were sustained at the bus stop, or who called the paramedics who found him at 1:20am on Sunday.
Police said two men, aged in their 30’s, are in custody and detectives from the Homicide Squad have taken charge of the investigation.

Two men have been arrested after another man found unconscious at a bus stop in south-west Western Australia died from his injuries.
The critically injured man, aged in his 20s, was found near Treendale Shopping Centre on The Boulevard at Australind, near Bunbury, about 1.20am on Sunday.
He was rushed to Bunbury Hospital but could not be revived.
Two men aged in their 30s have since been arrested and are being interviewed by police. No charges have yet been laid.
Detectives remained at the scene on Sunday, as a homicide investigation was launched.
Two bus stops and a large part of the shopping centre car park were cordoned off as forensic officers examined the crime scene.
Western Australian Premier Roger Cook extended his condolences to the man’s family and friends.
‘It would appear to be a very violent incident, and I’m very pleased that the police were able to get on top of that situation and take two people into custody as quickly as they have,’ he said.
