‘The Morning Show’ actress opens up about challenging herself in a whole new way.

Jennifer Aniston has done it all in her career: sitcom superstardom, hit movies, award-winning dramatic roles. But there’s one thing she’s still yet to cross off her list.

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar in a profile published earlier this month, the Emmy and SAG Award-winning actress revealed she dreams of bring on Broadway one day.

“I haven’t done theatre yet because it terrifies me,” Aniston, 56, said. “But it’s the one thing I haven’t tried besides make an album, which I doubt I’ll do!”

She went on to explain that she grew up in New York and “loved going to the theatre” as a child. “I think it’d be fun,” she said.

Should Aniston stage, she’d join a group of Hollywood A-listers who have made their Broadway debuts in recent years, including George Clooney, Robert Downey, Jr., Sarah Snook, Shailene Woodley and Keanu Reeves.

Of course, finding time for a run on Broadway, even a limited one, might be difficult for Aniston.

As Harper’s Bazaar noted, The Morning Show star keeps plenty on her plate — from running her haircare line LolaVie and serving as chief creative officer for Vital Proteins to prepping for her next TV project, Apple TV+’s I’m Glad My Mom Died, based on Jennette McCurdy’s hit memoir.

She and her Echo Films producing partner Kristin Hahn also have a new project in the works, loosely inspired by their early years breaking into the business.

Meanwhile, Aniston isn’t the only actress who has spoken recently about their desire to do live theater. Jennifer Lopez, amid her press tour for the film adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman, has talked about wanting to perform on Broadway one day. And Mandy Moore, earlir this month, told PEOPLE the same thing.

“One day doing Broadway, doing theater, is sort of what remains on a pedestal for me,” Moore admitted, while discussing her partnership with anti-RSV medication Beyfortus. “It terrifies me, but also the idea of it thrills me more than anything. So one day, hopefully, that will come to fruition. We’ll see.”

When it comes to the subject matter she’d want to pursue on Broadway, Off-Broadway or elsewhere, Moore said she isn’t picky. “I think I’m pretty open to when the timing is right and the right project sort of presenting itself,” the This Is Us actress said. “Maybe it’s something original, maybe it’s a revival of something. I’m kind of open to right place, right time, whatever it is.”
